I'm a diligent, ardent, motivated professional with 29 years of measurable achievements in IT, product development, marketing, and sales with a focus on technological innovation. I am highly competent in leading cross-functional teams across IT, support, development, design, marketing, sales, customer success, and management functions. I'm a lifelong learner able to adapt to any challenge that is thrown my way (except plumbing; I really dislike plumbing).

As a fast growing Managed Service Provider in the top 1% of MSPs nationwide, Impact needed to improve service delivery at its largest Managed IT branch. I was promoted to District Manager to use my technical leadership skills to meet this need.

Supervising a team of 12-16 vCIOs and Field Network Engineers, I am responsible for all aspects of client service delivery. I am responsible for resource allocation for all client support, projects, and pre-sales assessments. I provide oversight on support activities while maintaining a positive work environment for my team. I ensure that all personnel accurately follow internal processes and procedures and properly update client documentation. I track a variety of metrics that I present in weekly team meetings and share with leadership at Impact.

Served as the strategic information technology advisor for multiple Managed IT clients. Responsible for managing the overall client relationship. Made appropriate recommendations to meet client's business needs. Managed each client's technology roadmap and initiatives while monitoring all IT support issues.

Identified cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Worked closely with the sales teams and business development teams to land new business and renew existing contracts.

Developed and presented Periodic Business Reviews to client and sales team. Regularly recommended additional services, products, and changes to help clients' meet their business needs and stay current with IT and security trends.

Acted as project manager to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and expectations are set, understood, and achieved.

I held a variety of positions at LKCS, starting as an entry-level graphic designer. After first computerizing the traditional typesetting department, my fervor for innovation led to many years of success. I rose through the ranks supervising all design and prepress operations, building the company's computer network and establishing an IT department, leading the company into the age of the internet and web development, moving into sales and dramatically increasing business while implementing CRM, e-mail marketing and automation systems, assembling and directing a team of programmers, and thriving in company management.

Company culture began to shift away from some of the core values that I hold dear: striving for constant improvement, adopting new technologies to achieve competitive advantages, anticipating customers' needs, and exceeding their expectations. Work was becoming work, primarily due to internal reluctance to change. So, I left. I am proud of what I accomplished at LKCS and look forward to new challenges in my career.

LKCS Roles & Responsibilities

Product Design & Development

I spearheaded and successfully launched numerous new products and technological innovations at LKCS. Career highlights include establishing DataFlex, a SAAS enterprise-class business intelligence dashboarding and reporting solution for banks and credit unions and completely overhauling the company's statement processing and printing operations by implementing a robust omnichannel customer communications platform. Before leaving the company, I was clearly seen as the company's internal expert on emerging technologies and industry/customer trends.

Sales & Business Development

With over years of marcom and technical sales experience within the credit union and banking vertical, I grew sales year-over-year over routinely exceeding sales goals while also performing many other responsibilities. I possess outstanding client relation, communication, and organization skills. I represented the company and prepared and delivered presentations at conferences, trade shows, and association meetings. 

IT Management

I established the policies and overall direction of all IT and information security operations at LKCS. I directly supervised IT staff and provided management oversight over IT operations. I negotiated multiple contracts for hardware, software, and services. I led the company to achieve and maintain SOC2 compliance.

Programming Leadership

I directed a team of 8 internal and 3 offshore developers. Using Agile methods and scrum to manage tasks, we accomplished great things! I established objectives, tracked performance, reviewed and approved change requests, and greatly improved the quality and timeliness of programming operations.

Company Management

I was the first non-family member promoted to VP in the family-owned company's 60+ year history. As the company's thought leader and idea generator, I routinely implemented innovations and drove continuous improvement across all departments and product lines. I positively represented the company values and brand. I am still highly respected by ownership, customers, employees, and vendors.
